Kellie Austin, Strategist
Kellie Austin is an expert strategist for economic development, Community Improvement District consulting, political public relations and marketing. She has keen insight and brings a unique perspective for creative solutions for the greater success of all involved.
She has twenty years of experience in the political arena; at one time she was the only female consultant in Georgia. Kellie has managed and consulted dozens of political campaigns for US Congress, Sheriffs, State Reps, State Senators, Commissioners, City Council, and Judges. She has also coordinated public opinion research, and handled fund-raising and event management.
Kellie is an avid believer in local control and works with commercial property owners to create Community Improvement Districts. She has formed or helped to expand seven CIDs throughout metro Atlanta.
Kellie Austin ran state-wide for political office in 2016. She spoke across the state on important local issues and met with tens of thousands of Georgians. She received the votes of more than 72,000 in the election.
As an eighth generation Georgia native, Kellie Austin has lived throughout the Southeast. Born in Gainesville, and raised in Toccoa, she was one of the first home-schooled students in North Georgia. Kellie went on to attend Emmanuel College and North Georgia College and State University and is an alumnus of the Leadership Institute in Washington DC.
Kellie is the mother of five teenagers, four of whom attend Gwinnett Public Schools, and one is now in college. One is an alumnus of The Schenck School in Atlanta.
Kellie lives with her family just outside of Suwanee and are actively involved in 12Stone Church, and can be found on any given Sunday serving in the infant nursery for the early service. Kellie loves to spend as much time as possible on Lake Lanier, the North Georgia Mountains or pretty much anywhere else in Georgia. Favorite books include Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg, Home Run by Kevin Myers, Goals by Brian Tracy, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, The 80/20 Individual by Richard Koch and Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell.
